With so much information out there and available online, we wanted to reassure you what data we need and use and how it is stored.
It’s very important to us that we keep any data we hold secure. We asked the experts on the best way to do this and was advised the most secure way to hold the minimal data that we need for our operations is to keep it securely in the cloud and never on our desktops. Which is exactly what we do!
To enable access to our app, we require two types of data – the user’s name and email address that will act as their log-in.
Once our users are signed into the app, they do not need to provide any personal details to redeem any of our offers. All you need is the app and either 4G or a wifi signal and you’re good to go!
We hold all the relevant data and safety certificates and ensure that they are kept up to date.
The only time our users will be asked for any more data is to access the EAP as they will need to verify their identity to access the support and to book any online GP appointments with our partners. This service is for those who have been signed up for our Perk Plus or Perks Platinum packages.
We keep any payment details strictly in our third party software GoCardless and let them handle our monthly subscription payments directly with our customers. GoCardless are authorised by the Financial Conduct Authority as an Authorised Payment Institution and serve more businesses than any other Direct Debit provider.
GoCardless’ global data risk management programme is built to GDPR standards and their financial data server is separated from their application server by multiple firewalls.
Furthermore, with GoCardless our customers are fully protected by their Direct Debit Guarantee, that entitles you to a full and immediate refund of any payments taken from your account in error.
Data integrity and data security are at the forefront of our operations and we can assure you that we treat the minimal data that we hold securely. We do not pass any details onto any third parties or to our partners and at no point will our users need to provide any further details to redeem an offer (with the exception of our EAP and online GP Service).
